What should I do if there is no CVC2/CVV2 code on a VISA Electron or Cirrus Maestro card?

CVC2/CVV2 codes are sometimes not printed on these cards. To obtain this code, the Client should contact an officer of the card business service at: 201-16-17.

How quickly will a payment reach the service provider company?

Card authorization is carried out on-line. Information with respect to any payments made is delivered to service providers on a daily basis. As a rule, any payment is received on a service provider company’s account at the latest on the 2nd banking day following the posting of the payment via the system. With many companies (for example, UMC, Volia-Broadband), the system operates in the accelerated payment crediting mode, in which case any payment is credited within 15 minutes.

Is it possible to pay a bill for a cooperative apartment via Portmone.com?

It is possible to pay public utility service bills via the system, issued by the Main Data Processing Center PUE. The name of the organization to which funds are transferred is always indicated at the top of a printed version of the bill. If you are not sure, who exactly issued the bill to you, or whether your apartment is cooperative or not, please clarify the matter with the Portmone.com User Support Service at telephone number: 251-29-03. Unfortunately, you may not currently pay via the system for public utility services for cooperative apartments that are not serviced by the Main Data Processing Center PUE.

How do I pay energy and gas bills?

There are columns in bills issued by the Main Data Processing Center PUE, which are provided for filling in electric energy and gas consumption indications. Meter readings for the purpose of payment must be filled in manually, or the option of rated monthly payment should be selected. Unfortunately, it is still not possible to pay electric energy and gas bills via the system separately (other than within a bill for your apartment).

If I paid an excessive amount against a bill in the previous month, can I reduce my next payment by the overpaid amount?

If you paid more than the amount required, billers (service providers) usually consider this matter in a bill issued for the following period. You have the following 2 options:

1st option. After filling in all fields of the bill, you can correct the amount of the payment in the Payable Amount window by reducing it by the overpaid amount manually.

2nd option. You can choose not to pay bills for one or more months (depending on the amount of the previous overpayment) and wait until there is no overpayment in the next bill issued to you.

Why does postal delivery sometimes occur earlier than electronic delivery?

As a rule, only bills for apartments are delivered later within the system than to your mail box. This is connected with the operating technology of the Main Data Processing Center PUE issuing bills payable. The Main Data Processing Center PUE prints bills and distributes them to housing offices so far as information is processed by districts. In electronic format, bills become available after the processing of all bills throughout the city. Such delay in the delivery of electronic bills (usually several days) should not cause any problems in their payment, as according to the service provider’s rules, payment may be made up to the 20th day of current month.

What will happen if there are insufficient funds on a payment card to make payment?

In carrying out a transaction within the system, information thereon is transmitted to the UPC, which either confirms or rejects the transaction, including the possible rejection of a payment due to the lacking funds on the payer’s account.

Does the Portmone.com system work in the WAP format?

The system can also operate in the WAP format. Our address is wap.portmone.com.ua. The functionality of the WAP interface as compared with the WEB-site is limited, in particular, WAP can be only used by those users previously registered via the WEB-site. To activate this function in your mobile phone, you should contact the support service of the mobile operator. Operation with WAP encounters more frequent failures, which are usually connected with technical problems of service providers or specific features of the individual phone model.

If I become registered in the system, will I receive paper bills in my mail box as before?

Paper bills will be delivered to your mail box as before.

Do service suppliers accept receipts printed out from the website, in evidence of payment made?

Agreements with service providers stipulate that bills printed out from the Portmone.com website represent documents confirming payment made. In addition, by requesting a statement of your card account from the Bank with an original seal and signature, you can obtain an indisputable document confirming your payment. If you have any difficulties with receipts printed out from the website, please contact our Support Service or that of PORTMONE at (44) 251-29-03 or send a message to the address support@portmone.com. As an additional guarantee, you can use the payment receipt delivery service in paper form with the help of ordinary mail. These receipts will be certified by a seal of Portmone.com.

If I have any questions regarding the amount of the bill delivered within the system, who should I refer to for explanations?

The system provides delivery of bills. Accruals and preparation of bills are made by the company rendering services to you. Therefore, any questions with respect to the size of the accrued amount, as well as the purpose of payment, should be sent to the issuing company. At the same time, if information in a paper bill received by ordinary mail differs from that provided via the system, please contact the support service of PORTMONE at (44) 251-29-03 or send a message to the address support@portmone.com.

What do I do if SMS messages regarding bills are not delivered on a timely basis?

Delivery of SMS messages is an additional rather than a guaranteed service. Possible failures in message delivery are connected with activities of the mobile operator. To be completely certain that you will immediately know of the availability of any new bill issued to you, please be advised to activate the notice delivery service to your e-mail address.

The issue of security of bill payments via the system?

To exchange information with users, the industrial standard of SSL encryption is applied, using durable cryptography (with a key length of 128 bits). In this case, session (one-shot) encryption keys are generated based on the security certificate of our web server. This certificate is certified by the international certification agency Thawte Consulting, whose surety is accepted by default within the Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator browsers. Furthermore, information with respect to the card is transmitted via the payment gateway to the processing center in encrypted condition. Employees of PORTMONE incur personal criminal liability for any unlawful acts with credit card numbers.
