List of types of targeted financial assistance and socially-oriented expenses

1. According to the Law of Ukraine "On State Social Assistance to Low-Income Families" dated June 1, 2000, state social assistance to low-income families is defined. Low-income families who permanently reside on the territory of Ukraine are entitled to receive state social assistance.

2. According to the law of Ukraine "On General Compulsory State Social Insurance Against Unemployment", dated March 2, 2000, the following types of assistance are defined:

• unemployment allowance, including a one-time payment for the organization of entrepreneurial activities by unemployed persons;
• partial unemployment allowance;
• financial assistance during the period of professional training, re-training, or advanced training of the unemployed person;
• financial allowance for unemployment, one-time financial allowance for an unemployed person and disabled persons who depend on him;
• burial allowance in the event of death of the unemployed or a person who depends on him.

3. According to the Law of Ukraine "On General Mandatory State Social Insurance Against Industrial Accident and Occupational Disease Which Caused Disablement", dated September 23, 1999, the following types of compensations are stipulated for a worker or persons who depend on him:

• an allowance in connection with temporary disability up to restoration of the ability to work or the establishment of disability;
• a one-time allowance in connection with the constant loss of professional ability to work or death of the victim;
• a monthly monetary allowance in the event of a partial or full loss of the ability to work, compensating the respective share of the victim's income;
• a disability allowance as a result of an industrial accident or professional disease;
• an allowance in connection with the loss of the breadwinner who died due to an industrial accident or professional illness;
• a financial allowance for moral damage in the event of damage caused to the sufferer;
• an allowance to a child who was born disabled as a result of the industrial accident or professional illness of the mother during pregnancy.

4. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory State Social Insurance Related to Temporary Loss of Labor Ability and Expenses Caused by Birth and Funeral", dated January 18, 2001, the following types of financial allowance are stipulated:

• allowance for temporary loss of labor ability (including care for the ill child);
• pregnancy and childbirth allowance;
• allowance for the birth of a child;
• allowance for the care of the child before he reaches 3 years of age;
• allowance for funeral;
• allowance for recreational measures.

5. According to Art. 12 of Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the Income Tax on Citizens" No. 13-92 dated 26.12.1992, amounts of excessively paid income tax of citizens will be reimbursed to individuals according to results or re-calculation.

6. According to the Law of Ukraine "On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens Who Suffered From the Chornobyl Disaster", dated February 28, 1991, payment of compensations is stipulated to the respective categories of citizens.

7. According to Decree of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine "On the Procedure of Paying a Monthly State Allowance to Children Under 16 Years of Age Infected with HIV or Having AIDS" No. 265 dated August 31, 1998, the monthly state allowance payment is stipulated for children aged up to 16, are infected by HIV, or have AIDS.

8. Financial allowance to the employees of enterprises paid on a regular basis.
