Money transfers
For individuals
Rules for carrying out international money transfers
•Sending/payment of transfers from/to abroad:
A resident in one operation day may send up to UAH 15 000 (equivalent), included without a document confirming the transfer purpose. If the transfer amount exceeds UAH 15 000 (equivalent), he must additionally present documents confirming the purpose of the transfer and the TIN certificate original.
Documents confirming the transfer purpose are documents confirming family relations.
If individuals go abroad for permanent residence, they may carry out foreign currency transfers from current accounts without limitations. The grounds for carrying out the transaction are providing the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad with a mark allowing departure for residence with the indicated country of departure.
If a non-resident wants to send a transfer, he must present an identity document and a document confirming the source of origin of the foreign currency.
To send foreign currency transfers, a Resident and Non-resident may buy foreign currency on the interbank currency market in an amount not exceeding the equivalent of UAH 75 000 per month according to the NBU exchange rate.
If an amount over UAH 50 000 (equivalent) is paid to Residents, they have to additionally present the TIN certificate original.
•Sending transfers within Ukraine:
Sending/payment of transfers in foreign currency on the territory of Ukraine will be carried out without limitations. Residents must additionally provide the TIN certificate original.
Sending/payment of transfers in the national currency on the territory of Ukraine will be carried out without limitations.
A sender commission is charged in UAH only.
